Fuel Quality Requirements
ALL engine manufacturers have fuel specifications for their equipment.
Usually these specs can be found in the owner’s manual and they are a requirement for the machinery purchaser. These set out what quality the fuel used in their engines must meet or exceed.
Engine manufacturers like Caterpillar, MAN, Mak, Hyundai, Detroit Diesel, Cummins etc. have similar fuel quality requirements. They ALL state the owner of the newly purchased machinery has their own choice when buying consumables like oil filters, additives, fuel filters etc. They also state that they never endorse any products except ones they make. They simply have no way to test all the products on the market.
Pro-Active-Research made sure WITH Enviro-Clean Fuel Additives (EC) added to the fuel, ALL fuel specs were met or exceeded.
