YOUR choices can save LIVES
How?
The European Union estimated diesel particulate matter (PM) to be responsible for approximately 350,000 excess deaths annually in Europe alone. [1]
This means that PM , largely from traffic, may cause many more deaths per year than traffic accidents do.
Please....... think back........... 20 years ago in your high school, there may have been a couple of classmates with asthma or allergies, but NOW, there may be 100’s in your old school.
Diesel exhaust has been implied as a major component in the effects on children’s’ lungs and asthma development, as well as acute effects on their cardiovascular system and heart.[2]
Enviro-Clean Fuel Additives have been scientifically PROVEN to reduce PM .
HOLMEN SKOG reduces PM 86%
AKKA FRAKT reduces PM 47%
In Canada, the 2005 Ontario Public Health Association (OPHA) study [3] on School Buses, Air Pollution & Children’s Health found the following:,
CONCLUSIONS: These air pollutants have been clearly associated with a broad spectrum of acute and chronic impacts. They have been found to:
• Aggravate asthma, leading to more frequent and severe asthma attacks;
• Increase the number of respiratory infections;
• Reduce lung function;
• Aggravate and induce allergies;
• Increase school day and work day absences;
• Increase emergency room visits, hospital admissions and premature deaths;
• Contribute to the development of chronic heart and lung diseases including lung cancer and possibly
asthma.

There are over 100 epidemiological studies worldwide that have demonstrated increased mortality associated with particulate air matter (PM) pollution [4]. The effects have been seen in both adults and children as well.
